The Youth Peace Initiative - Youth Advisory Council presents a
Youth Environmental Summit!
Join us for a day of interactive speakers, workshops and activities
focused around the PeaceJam Global Call to Action: Restoring the
Earth's Environment.
"The earth is our mother, and it is
wounded. It is out of balance and needs to be healed. Global warming is
a reality, and only by a concentrated effort involving individual
citizens, civil society, and our government leaders can we address the
many causes for the precarious situation we have created for ourselves
here on earth."
When: Saturday, March 27 from 9am-4pm
with an optional service project until 4:30pm

PeaceJam Solano
PeaceJam Solano is a project of Youth Peace Initiative, a California 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. As a Chapter of the PeaceJam Foundation, PeaceJam Solano brings Solano County youth together with Nobel Peace Prize Laureates to learn and practice nonviolence and conflict resolution while actively serving our community.
Local PeaceJam clubs meet regularly to learn about the lives of the Nobel Peace Laureates and to study conflict resolution curricula designed for them by the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates.
